Effective January 1, 2008, attorneys no longer have the option of filing paper documents with the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Electronic filing is required for all petitions, pleadings, orders, correspondence and documents of any kind filed with the Bankruptcy Court by attorneys.
Since all attorneys should be electronic filers and have consented to electronic service, effective January 2008, our office will no longer serve attorneys with copies of the Trustee’s 341 Notes by US Postal Service as service will be accomplished electronically pursuant to counsel’s ‘election’ as an electronic filer.(Updated January 25, 2008).
